This is the bizarre moment a childish game goes very wrong for a woman on a night out. 

'Shannon' was enjoying a few drinks in Whitby, Yorkshire when her friend started a game of 'the floor is lava'. 

The game involves players having to move around on furniture without touching the floor.

When Shannon's friend called out that the 'floor is lava' she stormed into action and sprinted out of the pub.

Outside she found the nearest thing that would get her off the ground - a plant pot . 

Despite her high heels she attempted to climb the miniature tree and perched on the top of the pot.

However, after just a second it toppled under her weight and she went headfirst into the floor, knocked over the plant and scattered stones across the pavement.

Despite the nasty fall Shannon remained in good spirits, giggling hysterically as people helped her up.
