Police arrest man outside polling station 'for shouting "Kill all the Jews" at voter then yelled more abuse while brandishing a crowbar'

  • The thug shouted 'f******g Jews, kill all the Jews, what are you doing here?'
  • Screamed at voter by Hackney polling station before returning with crowbar
  • The incident was reported by Jewish neighbourhood watch group Shomrim

A voter was racially abused outside a polling station by a man shouting 'f******g Jews, kill all the Jews, what are you doing here?'

The thug targeted a voter as he was leaving the building in Hackney before coming back later with a crowbar shouting more abuse. 

Chaim Hochhauser, spokesman for Jewish community watch group Shomrim, which reported the abuse, said: 'This was a frightening experience for the victim.

'I would like to thank the woman at the polling station who came to the aid of the victim and helped him leave the premises to find a safe place.'

Police arrested the man on suspicion of a racially or religiously aggravated public order offence at around 5pm in Clapton Common.

He has since been taken to an east London police station for questioning.
