Children's splash pool is closed as 'little girl is pulled from the water'

A children's splash pool has been dramatically shut after a girl was reportedly pulled from the water.
The children's pool at the Huddersfield Leisure Centre, West Yorkshire, has been closed until further notice following the incident.
An eyewitness told the Huddersfield Daily Examiner: 'They dragged a little girl out of the water and started CPR compressions.

'They cleared the pool and all staff arrived to help. Paramedics came very quickly.
'Staff supported the gentleman and boy who were with the girl. Paramedics took the girl out to their ambulance and police were also at the scene. Staff acted very quickly and efficiently.'
Two other adult pools at the leisure centre have remained open throughout the drama, which began just after midday.
The girl was taken to Calderdale Royal Hospital. Her injuries are not believed to be life-threatening.
