'Watch me eat this leaning tower of yumiosity!' Astronaut demonstrates 'proper way' to eat pudding in space
- Astronaut Jack Fischer is inside the International Space Station
- He squeezed pudding out into zero gravity and then tried to eat it
- A chunk of the pudding floated off before he could get it into his mouth
- Managed to maneuver his body so he could get his mouth to the tasty treat
One astronaut has figured out how to eat pudding and still not gain any weight.
Space walker Jack Fischer posted a video of him gobbling down yellow pudding floating in zero gravity inside the International Space Station.
'The proper way to eat pudding in space. Space snacks are @Tasty too! #Floatyfood #SpacePudding' he wrote on Twitter. 'Ever wonder what it’s like to eat pudding in space? Watch me eat this leaning tower of yumiosity!'
Astronaut Jack Fischer, who is currently on the International Space Station, squeezed out a twisty mound of pudding onto a spoon
After he took one bite, a chunk of the pudding floated away into the atmosphere
Fischer had to move his weightless body around and was able to get his mouth on the free-floating pudding
He sucked down the rest of the tasty treat and wrote this was the 'proper' way to eat pudding in space
Video showed him squeezing the pudding out of a gray container where it spiraled into a weightless tower on a spoon held down with a device.
Unable to bring the gooey treat to his lips lest it float off, Fischer had to bring his lips to the pudding.
However, once he did that, a chunk of the pudding promptly floated away.

Fischer had to lean around, open his mouth, and catch the pudding before it continued its journey to the ends of the station.
The astronaut's body tumbled around in zero gravity for a few seconds before he was able to orient himself enough to get his mouth back to the spoon and slurp up the pudding remains.
