Patrick said: 'I had just gotten home from work and Lou had a lot of energy.

'I wore him out like we always do, which usually takes 30 minutes.

'As he started getting ready for his puppy nap I thought it would be funny to try to put him in a hypnosis induced sleep.

'When he was yawning, I thought maybe I had discovered the secret to scheduled sleep for puppies.

'Alas, it didn't work out but I thought it was hilarious.

'I've tried again but he just attacks the ball and has too much energy to try.'
