A shocking video has emerged of the moment astounded motorists were forced to swerve out of the path of a 14ft boat after it slipped off the back of a trailer.
The dashcam footage was filmed on Sandygate Roundabout in Exeter earlier this month.
The clip shows motorists cautiously driving around the boat that was left stranded on the busy road.
The large white boat, complete with a black motor engine, appears to have fallen off the back of a trailer attached to a car on the other side of the road.
The driver who recorded the video wrote online: 'Dashcam footage in Exeter - whilst on my way home from work I came across a boat on Sandygate Roundabout!'

'Just because the boat is heavy doesn't mean it is just going to sit there on the trailer.
'Need to tie down the front and the rear.'
