Today's the day to leave work on time

Workers are being urged to leave their office on time and take a proper lunch break today as part of a campaign to end the UK's long hours culture.
The TUC has designated today Work Your Proper Hours Day after research showed that if the average employee did all their unpaid overtime at the start of the year they would only be paid from today.
"This is one day in the year to make the most of your own time," said a TUC spokesman. "Take a proper lunchbreak, leave work on time and enjoy your Friday evening. You deserve it."
Workers across the country are effectively giving their employers £23 billion of free work every year, said the TUC.
More than 800,000 people - 3.4 per cent of the workforce - regularly put in more than 10 hours unpaid overtime each week.
The TUC has set up a website that workers can use to send an anonymous email to their boss, reminding him or her about the importance of not working long hours.
