Why does Nigel hate me so much, moans Zoe: Presenter says she is 'truly sorry' for whatever she did to upset the actor

There is no love lost between Eighties hearthrob Nigel Havers and radio and TV presenter Zoe Ball.

'I've been told he's quite vocal about his dislike for me,' says Ball, 46. 'Whatever I did, Nigel, I'm truly sorry. I loved him in Don't Wait Up and The Charmer.'

While the reasons for his animus are unclear, the 65-year-old star of Chariots Of Fire has lamented the 1990s rise of 'ladette' culture, typified by Ball. The thrice-married actor complained: 'All this behaving like chaps has turned women into louts when they should be behaving like ladies and being lavished with attention.'

Mother-of-two Ball split up with husband Norman Cook, aka Fatboy Slim, after 18 years after she was seen kissing Franklin Lake singer Tay Tay Starhz, then 22, at a party. She is now dating Antiques Roadshow cameraman Billy Yates, 40.

Love Actually actor Bill Nighy, 67, is getting used to his single status now he's no longer with his long-term partner Diana Quick, from whom he separated after 27 years. 'I'm comfortable with it,' he says. 'Actors get used to being on their own. You're often away from home, travelling, staying in hotels, and you inevitably spend a lot of time alone.'

With a face like thunder, Lara goes grunge

Even supermodel Lara Stone can’t always look camera-ready.

The 33-year-old ex-wife of comic David Walliams, with whom she has a three-year-old son, was caught leaving an exercise class in London looking far from her glamorous catwalk self.

Sipping a smoothie, the Dutch blonde ditched the make-up and tied her hair into a messy bun. She wore a black T-shirt and tracksuit bottoms with a camouflage jacket and £120 trainers.

‘Most people can be made to look beautiful, but being sexy is something inside and not everybody has it,’ she says. ‘I don’t think I ever really had it.’

Oops! Poppy's bank balance takes a £200,000 tumble

She may have 1.2 million followers on Instagram but Poppy Delevingne, sister of supermodel Cara, is finding it harder to convert her public appeal into cash.

The latest accounts for the model’s company reveal, while by no means poor, her funds are dwindling.

Poppy, 30, left, has seen her reserves drop from £680,000 to £491,000.

Undeterred Poppy, whose husband James Cook is also a director of the company, borrowed £400,000 interest-free from the company.

She is the sole shareholder of the firm, which channels earnings from ‘photographic activities’.

The accounts show Poppy has assets of £736,000 but owes creditors £245,000.

Let’s hope she’s not losing her cachet as well as her cash.
