The height of stupidity: Nail-biting moment 'drunk' reveller slides down a 70ft-high roof 'for a dare'
- The reveller who looked in his twenties is seen navigating a five-storey block
- He has nothing but a flimsy wire fence to steady himself as friends egg him on
- Man rejoins his friends after balancing on a tiny window ledge to stop falling
Nail-biting footage shows a 'drunk' reveller sliding down the slippery roof of a 70ft building while his friends egg him on.
The reveller who looked in his twenties is seen navigating the five-storey block of flats in Manchester after apparently being 'dared' to touch a window.
After scaling the roof terrace barrier, the man - who has nothing but a flimsy wire fence to steady himself - sits and slides to the bottom of the slope.

The clip then shows him scrambling to rejoin his friends and balancing on a tiny window ledge to stop him tumbling to the concrete below.
At one point his friends - standing safely at the top of the slanted metal roof - appear to panic and throw him a piece of fabric.
Mark Roberts, 27, filmed the man's antics on his mobile after spotting them through his living room window in Manchester's Northern Quarter at around 9am on Saturday.
He said the man, dressed in jeans, a t-shirt and trainers, managed to regain his balance and get back onto the roof terrace - some 70ft off the ground - a few minutes later.
The financial adviser said: 'I saw this lad climbing over the barrier and then he kind of slid down the roof. His friends were watching him and appeared to be egging him on.
'He went down at quite a speed and hit into a little bit of brick and started trying to climb back up, but he slipped and lost his balance and got a bit stuck.

After he found his footing he went back up shortly afterwards. It appeared he'd been dared to touch the window or something.
'It was very high up and they looked as though they were in their twenties.
'It looked like they were having a party and later in the afternoon they were still on the roof. It looked like they had carried it on from the night before.
'They had cans of lager in their hands and the guy who was sliding was drunk.
'At first we thought he'd lost his keys and couldn't get them but then we realised it was probably a dare.
'It was very worrying. When he slid down it was dramatic and it was hard to watch when he lost his footing. I had no idea what was going to happen.
'It was really stupid. He could have easily fallen.'
Greater Manchester Police said it is not currently investigating the incident.
