Splashing around! Dolphin pod playfully interacts with a human in a see-through canoe

Bottle-nose dolphins are among the most intelligent animals in the world, so it's nor surprise that a pod in Florida got excited when they saw something they've (likely) never seen before.

On March 4, a canoer sailing in a transparent vessel came across a group of dolphins off the coast of Florida.

The dolphins were instantly mesmerized with the see-through boat, swimming ground the canoe and showing off by spashing around and jumping out of the water.

At one point, the rider in the boat put their hand in the water and one of the dolphins came right up and nuzzled up to the human. 

The person who caught the amazing sight on their camera wrote online:  'These are just a few of the awesome dolphin encounters I've had in the See Through Canoe. 

'There is no doubt that the dolphins are very curious about the transparent canoe. 

'About 70% of the time I see dolphins, one of them comes over to check it out. Sometimes just for a glance, other times it's an amazing encounter,' the user wrote.
