The Melbourne mother said she thought the 'family-friendly' venue would be a suitable place to have her daughter there.
'I could've taken her to the pub but ironically that would've been legal but I thought a less suitable environment to have a three-month-old baby in,' she said.
'Clearly there's no chance a three-month-old would be drinking anything other than milk.'
7 News reported the group were given a full refund and the venue has since invited the mother-of-one and her baby back.
The company's website says 'no under 18s are allowed in all Strike Venues (excluding Strike Macquarie) after 8pm'.
A Strike Bowling spokesperson said the policy was designed to 'offer a protected and safe experience for our guests of all ages'.
