Authorities are searching for the suspect in the Monday afternoon incident, which began around Merritt Avenue and Conner Street in Eastchester, WABC reports.
The incident started at about 2.30pm, when the victim got into an argument with the suspect, who pursued the victim and used a sword to attack him, the station said.

The 36-year-old victim's left arm was seriously hurt, and he was transported to a hospital in stable condition, according to NBC New York.
