When they gave up hope of finding their way back to civilisation, the crew made emergency phone calls to local rescuers.
The rescue team had difficulties in finding the film crew on land and made a decision to launch aerial drones in a bid to locate the individuals who began to complain of the cold.
Once their position was picked up the rescuers were able to deploy bulldozers to clear a path through heavy snow to get to them.
They were brought back to a nearby city where their health was checked.
The crew's short film tells the story of a man trying to get his pregnant wife to the hospital in time, and the relationship between a disabled girl and her father.
