Hooters, a full-service restaurant featuring chicken wings and waitresses in revealing orange-and-white outfits, is diversifying its restaurant portfolio.

The chain, which has more than 430 restaurants across 28 countries, will open a fast-casual restaurant called Hoots, a Hooters Joint.

The first such restaurant will be opened in Cicero, Illinois, a suburb of Chicago.

Male and female servers will wear regular, non-revealing outfits at the counter-service restaurant.

The restaurant will hope to compete with restaurants such as Chipotle and Panera.

The first Hooters opened in Clearwater, Florida in 1983.

Since then, the restaurant has expanded to 28 countries including Singapore, Hungary and Nicaragua.
