This BASE jumper leapt off a cliff, drifted gracefully through the clouds - and then slammed straight into a tree.
Dramatic footage shows the daredevil plunging straight into the tree canopy, grabbing its branches with both hands.
Luckily, he was completely unhurt after the accident, which happened in Chatelus, central France, last December.

Posting the footage online, the daredevil explained he hit the tree after opening his parachute too late for a clear descent.
He said: 'I exited the clouds, and after a few seconds of track, I opened my parachute a little late and finished in the trees without being hurt.'
The video ends with the man unraveling his equipment from the tree's branches before shimmying down the trunk.
Filmmaker Carl Boenish coined the term 'BASE jumping' in 1978.

It is significantly more dangerous than skydiving, as the lower altitude that BASE jumpers descend from increase the risk of the parachute not opening in time.
Jumping from a lower altitude also means you travel at a lower speed, allowing less time to steady your position before opening the parachute.
