A woman has described the moment she saw a man masturbating at a public beach as 'very disturbing'.
The woman said she was running on a track along South Beach, in the suburb of North Coogee, south of Perth in Western Australia, when spotted the man doing the crude act on Sunday, WA Today reported.
'I ran passed him once and at that time he still had a towel around him, but he took it off when he saw me and as I didn't have my phone on me, I panicked and ran towards the car park and walked back with a group of people,' she said.
A woman out for a run at South Beach reported a 'very disturbing' incident of a man masturbating at a public beach
The woman said the man was wearing a towel and when he saw her dropped it to reveal the lewd act he was doing
After staying with the group for a while, the woman thought she was safe to run through the area on her own again, but soon after turning down a path saw the same man masturbating.
She ran back to the group people she had been with, she used their phone and report the incident to the police.
Two other women responded to the post and also reported sightings of a man masturbating at a public beach.
One woman said she saw a man performing a 'lewd act on himself' at a dog park near the same beach and was in full view of people on the beach.
In the past, two other women have reported being confronted by a man doing the crude at in the South Beach area to the police
'A fellow dog walker also spotted him and called the police. He was seen at the south end of the dog beach.'
Another woman wrote on the post that a few years ago a naked man had jumped out in front of her car and began to commit the indecent act.
'He's lucky I didn't run him over. I reported it to police at the time. It seems like the area is favoured by a few unsavoury people. Be aware and take care,' she said.
