Rock star Pete Doherty has reaffirmed his love for his former supermodel girlfriend Kate Moss as he left court following another appearance on drugs charges.
The 26-year-old Babyshambles front man ran to his gold Jaguar from Thames Magistrates' Court in east London, then, surrounded by photographers, scrawled "I love Kate 4 eva".
He also added "QPR", in tribute to his favourite football team Queens Park Rangers, before screaming off into the London traffic with his horn blowing.
Mr Doherty's case at the magistrates' court on seven counts of possessing controlled drugs was adjourned until March 23.
In court, dressed in a light blue military jacket with the word "Goi" on the front, Doherty removed his trademark trilby as he confirmed his address as Laburnum Street in east London.
He was accused of having 0.406gm of heroin, 0.776gm of crack cocaine, 0.332gm of cannabis resin and 5.94gm of cannabis on December 18 last year in Riverside Close in east London.
On January 14 this year police allege he had 3.103gm of heroin, 3.664gm of crack cocaine and 2.503gm of cannabis in Dunlace Road, also in east London.
Today, the chair of the bench was told that the prosecution was not ready to proceed with the seven charges he faces and the matter has been adjourned for two weeks.
As he left the court he sprinted across the road to avoid the mass of cameras waiting for him, dived into his car and then scrawled the love note on the window with a marker pen.
