Give me a kissss! Man lets his very affectionate pet PYTHON slither all over his face in bizarre video
- Video was posted on Townsville Snake Catchers Facebook page
- Carpet python crawls all over face of its owner Lachlan McNaught
- 'Even the smaller carpets just want to cuddle every now and then,' he said
- 'What a stunner' and 'what a beauty' were just some of comments made
It’s one thing to play around with a snake but when you let it slither around on your face you could be asking for trouble.
However this this did not stop Lachlan McNaught posting a video on Townsville Snake Catchers Facebook page of his carpet python crawling all over his face as he sat back and enjoyed the experience.
'Even the smaller carpets just want to cuddle every now and then,' Mr McNaught said.
The snake is content to slither all over Mr McNaught's face and even puts its head into his eye but he lets it continue crawling around without any problems.
Even when it starts constricting around his throat he doesn't flinch and the snake looks quite content to be left to its own devices.
The footage goes on for almost a minute as Mr McNaught pulls some funny faces as the snake takes a closer look at his nose, mouth and ears.
'What a stunner' and 'what a beauty' were just some of the comments that the video received from snake lovers on the Facebook page.
Rather than on someone's face, carpet pythons are generally found in open forests, rainforests, coastal heaths, rural lands, park lands and suburban gardens.
This species is widespread and found throughout northern, eastern and southern Australia.
A carpet python can sometimes grow to more than three metres in length, and they feed on frogs and lizards.
