Man dies in high-speed train crash

A tractor driver has been killed today when his vehicle was struck by a high-speed train on a level crossing.
The train from London King's Cross to King's Lynn, Norfolk, was believed to be travelling at 90mph when it hit the tractor at Littleport in Cambridgeshire.
Emergency services confirmed that the tractor driver was killed in the incident.
The train was not derailed and the driver and passengers were not seriously injured, said Network Rail.
Train services in the area were suspended and replacement buses were laid on.
