Grumpy Cat lives up to her name at her own book launch with a face that says she'd rather be anywhere else

She's the world's crankiest cat and has now launched a second book of cranky advice.

Grumpy Cat launched the tome – The Grumpy Guide To Life: Observations By Grumpy Cat – in Santa Monica, California, on Monday, and looked predictably grumpy at the event.

The feline became an internet sensation after her scowling visage became synonymous with melancholic disenchantment. 

Her first book, Grumpy Cat: A Grumpy Book, was a guide to attaining 'true grumpiness' from the self-appointed 'master of bad attitude'.

Helpful tips included eating ice cream cones to get incurable brain freezes and reminding yourself that a kiss carries more germs than 100 toilet seats.

The follow-up carries on where her first book left off, with observations such as 'absence makes the heart grow fonder - of your absence' and 'It's always good to have a partner in crime - you need someone to blame when people start asking questions'.
