He must be nuts! Sweet-toothed squirrel discovered remains of a cupcake while scavenging a bin... and devours every last crumb
When it comes to the business of scavenging, this squirrel clearly has something of a sweet tooth.
This critter might well have been curious about the chocolatey find while raiding a rubbish bin on Holloway Road in north London.
Perching on the edge of the bin, the rummaging rodent reached into the trash and pulled out the remnants of a chocolate cupcake.

However, curiosity was fast replaced with gluttony as the squirrel devoured every last morsel of the tasty treat.
At one point, the hungry animal buried its face in the cupcake's paper casing in a bid to get to every last crumb.

The cupcake was certainly a departure from a squirrel's usual diet of nuts and seeds.
And the brazen animal appeared to be behaving more like an urban fox than a creature more commonly seen timidly hiding in trees.
