I've done no wrong, says Tony Martin
Jailed farmer Tony Martin has told students he had "done no wrong" in shooting dead a 16-year-old burglar and wounding his accomplice.
Mr Martin, of Emneth, Hungate, Norfolk, told the Cambridge University Union Society he did not forgive those who had broken into his farm.
He accepted that the intruders "didn't deserve what they got" but they were victims of circumstances of their own making.
Mr Martin also told the society that prison was "a holiday camp".
"They didn't deserve what they got but that is circumstances," Mr Martin said as he answered questions from students.
"That is how it comes about but that is of their own making not mine."
He added: "Basically if you are in your house and if someone comes in to cause you trouble, if things turn out the wrong way for them it is just tough luck...
"I personally don't think I have done any wrong at all."
Asked whether he felt forgiveness for the men who had broken into his farm, he replied: "People who burgled my house? No."
