New man held on Lindh stabbing
Police in Sweden have released the suspect held over the murder of politician Anna Lindh after arresting another man on suspicion of the killing.
The original suspect has been cleared, police revealed.
Foreign Minister Lindh was stabbed in a shopping mall on September 10 by a man wielding a knife and died the next day of her wounds.
She had been a leading campaigner for the adoption of the euro in Sweden, but although her stabbing was only days before the national referedum, police are unsure of the motive behind her killing.
The Swedish people returned a 'no' vote to adopting the euro as the national currency.
