Body found at RAF base
Police have launched a "comprehensive investigation" following the discovery of a body at one of Britain's biggest RAF fighter bases.
Officers say the "military authorities" asked them to investigate the death at RAF Marham near King's Lynn, Norfolk.
But police in Norfolk have released few details about the incident.
A spokesman would not say if the dead person was a man or a woman, a member of the armed services or a civilian.
He said: "At the present time there are no suspicious circumstances.
"RAF Marham is the home of squadrons of Tornado fighter bombers and pilots from the base were heavily involved in the war in Iraq."
