Soham murder trial postponed
The trial of Soham suspect Ian Huntley has been postponed until November 3 this year.
The trial at the Old Bailey was originally due to begin on October 6. No reasons for the delay can be reported by order of the trial judge, Mr Justice Moses.
Schoolgirls Holly Wells and Jessica Chapman vanished on August 4. Their bodies
were found on August 17 in a ditch near Lakenheath, Suffolk.
Former school caretaker Huntley denies murdering the two girls, both 10, who vanished after being seen walking near their homes in Soham, Cambridgeshire, last August.
Maxine Carr, who was a teaching assistant in Holly and Jessica's class at St Andrew's Primary School, Soham, denies two charges of assisting an offender and one of conspiring to pervert the course of justice.
