Teenager held over Marsha's murder
Detectives investigating the murder of gap-year student Marsha McDonnell have arrested a 16-year-old boy, Scotland Yard has said.
The teenager was arrested at his home in Hampton, the same area of south-west London where Marsha, 19, was murdered.
Police swooped after receiving a tip-off. A number of addresses in the south-west London area are also currently being searched.
Police said the arrest was in connection with Marsha's murder and also an attack on a 17-year-old woman and an 18-year-old man, both in Hampton.
Marsha was killed in the early hours of February 4 after a night out with friends.
