The FAA described in the vague advisory that the ground stop was triggered by a 'fire alarm/safety' situation and noted that the tower was evacuated due to 'possible fire.'
According to FlightAware data, 213 flights have been delayed at the airport on Sunday. At least 33 flights have been canceled.
