President Donald Trump's return to the campaign trail was not kid-friendly, as he peppered his speech in Pennsylvania with swear words to go after his Democratic rivals.
Trump traveled to Mount Pocono, in the northeast part of the commonwealth, to give what was billed as an address on the economy.
In reality, the event had the makings of a campaign rally, as he defended his second-term record ahead of next year's midterm races in front of a raucous crowd of MAGA faithful.
'By the way, last election, did we kick a**?' he asked at the top of his speech.
He then characterized former President Joe Biden, who was born in nearby Scranton, as a 'sleepy son of a b****.'
Trump took aim at Democratic Representative Ilhan Omar, who is Muslim and was born in Somalia, saying she wears a 'little turban,' repeated the rumor that she married her brother and said she came from a 'hell hole.'
He later said a chart displayed at the event looked like 's***' compared to the immigration one he credited for saving his life in Butler, Pennsylvania, as he turned his head to look at it, narrowly missing an assassin's bullet.
'This is crazy because I haven't made a speech in a little while,' he conceded, taking in the crowd. 'You know, when you win, when you win, you say, "I can now rest."'

President Donald Trump takes in the crowd Tuesday night in Mount Pocono, Pennsylvania - a rally-like appearance that marked his return to the campaign trail ahead of next year's important midterm races
He credited Chief of Staff Susie Wiles, whom he initially referred to as 'Susie Trump,' as the woman who demanded that he start making rally-like appearances again.
'Do you know Susie Trump, sometimes referred to as Susie Wiles? Susie Trump. She's a great chief of staff,' he said.
He then did a quick segue.
'They don't use the word chief of staff anymore because the Indians got extremely upset. But now the Indians actually want their name used. Which is true. They never didn't want it used,' Trump said.
'But the chief of staff and she's fantastic,' he added.
Republicans are concerned they could be facing a midterm 'blue wave,' which could wipe out their majority in the House of Representatives and create a narrower majority in the U.S. Senate.
Americans have expressed that they're nervous about the economy, an assertion that has angered Trump in recent interviews.
He gave himself the grade of an 'A-plus-plus-plus-plus-plus' in an interview with Politico released Monday, and slammed the reporter for being 'dramatic' when she brought up Americans' economic woes.

On Tuesday night, he hit back after Democrats saw a string of victories in off-year and special elections, winning on the issue of affordability.
'But Democrats talking about affordability is like Bonnie and Clyde preaching about public safety,' the president argued.
Trump also bristled at criticism from former allies, including retiring Representative Marjorie Taylor Greene, for the trips he made abroad this year, defending his travel to the Pennsylvania crowd.
'Somebody complained I was making a foreign trip,' Trump said, mentioning his May trip to Saudi Arabia, Qatar and the United Arab Emirates. 'I brought back $4 trillion.'
He said the criticism came from 'stupid people.'
'Let's sit around and twiddle our thumbs,' he complained.
Trump repeatedly went after Omar during his remarks.
'I love this. Ilhan Omar. Whatever the hell her name is, with the little turban. I love her. She comes in, does nothing but b****,' Trump said.

'We oughta get her the hell out. She married her brother in order to get in right? She married her brother,' the president insisted.
A source from inside the Somali community told the Daily Mail back in February 2020 that the Democratic congresswoman told friends years ago that the man who went on to become her second husband was her brother.
Omar has denied the allegations, and there continues to be scant evidence that the claims are true.
'Can you imagine if Donald Trump married his sister?' the president continued. 'She's a beautiful person. If I married my sister to get my citizenship?'
'She married her brother to get in. Therefore, she's here illegally. She should get the hell out,' he added.
The congresswoman was in the country legally.
It was her brother who needed papers to stay in the United States, the Daily Mail's source said.
Trump also pushed that Omar was involved in a pandemic-era fraud case in Minnesota totaling more than a billion in stolen taxpayer money by a non-profit that was supposed to serve the immigrant Somali population.

'It's a scam and it's headed up by the crooked congresswoman,' Trump charged. 'Whatever happened to her brother, by the way, is he still around?'
Omar isn't directly connected to the fraud scandal.
'"How dare you say that about me? It's discrimination,"' Trump continued, pretending to be Omar. 'Let me tell you, black people love Trump,' he said, adding that 'they know a scam.'
Trump used the example to pivot to his hardline immigration policy.
'I've announced a permanent pause on Third World migration, including from hell holes like Afghanistan, Haiti, Somalia, and many other countries,' Trump said.
A member of the audience volunteered that they were 's***hole' countries instead, a comment that Trump had previously gotten in trouble for making.
'I didn't say s***holes, you did,' Trump said, grinning.
'Why can't we have some people from Norway, Sweden, just a few? Let us have a few from Denmark. Do you mind sending us a few people? Send us some nice people. Do you mind?' the president then mused.
A little over an hour in, Trump admitted that the event wasn't going as scripted.
His speech lasted an hour and 36 minutes.
'I haven't read practically anything off the stupid teleprompter,' he said. 'And then my speechwriters, they're getting awards for some of the finest speeches, and I haven't even read them,' he laughed.
