Confronting CCTV has captured the terrifying moment an out-of-control car ploughed into three tradies and sent them flying into the front of a nearby restaurant.

Emergency services rushed to the intersection of Bungaribee Road and Lock Street in Blacktown, in Sydney's west, just after 9am on Friday, following reports a Toyota Corolla and Honda CR-V had collided.

One of the vehicles mounted the kerb and struck three men waiting to cross the road at the traffic lights.

CCTV showed the trio standing on the footpath when a loud bang was heard and the Toyota veered towards the footpath.

The men tried to dodge the out-of-control car but were hurled into the air on impact, along with flying debris from the Toyota.

The men landed outside an Indian restaurant several metres away.

One of the tradies was heard screaming out in pain while the two other men lay on the ground nearby unconscious.

Doctors from a nearby medical centre rushed to the scene to treat the injured pedestrians aged in their 20s and 30s.
