The shock death of a young FIFO worker five years after she moved to Australia from a small town in Ireland has left her loved ones reeling.
Serena Downey, 29, from Listowel in County Kerry died in Perth earlier this week.
Her devastated mother, Helen McDonald, has led a series of emotional tributes for her daughter, who had been working as a machine operator.
'Sleep tight my beautiful baby. I'll miss you forever Serena,' she wrote.
'I can't believe I'll never hear your lovely voice again. Never once hung up the phone without saying love you. I will be forever heartbroken.
'We will be together again one day and when I hug you I'll never let you go.'
Serena's childhood best friend said she was 'gone way too soon'.
'I'll never forget the memories we shared together, all the laughs and even the odd tear, my heart is truly broken, a smile and a person I'll never forget, I'll cherish all the pictures and videos, we love you loads,' she wrote.

'Be kind to yourself and others,' she wrote in her bio.
Family friend Christina Williamson said it was with a heavy heart that she announced the news of Serena's shock passing.
'We are raising funds to assist with the costs associated with having Serena brought back home to her devastated family,' she wrote on a GoFundMe campaign.
'Our aim is relieve some of the financial burden on Serena's family and to assist with the cost of having her personal belongings brought home.
'We hope you can all come together to help in any way possible.
'Sleep tight beautiful angel.'

'Your chesty, hearty laugh will be so missed. A heart of gold & one of the strongest people I knew! You are so missed. RIP Serena x,' a second wrote.
