Horrifying moment Hungry Jack's worker is MAULED by an angry customer in late night attack in Port Augusta - and the bite marks left on his body

Terrifying footage captured the moment a Hungry Jack's worker was allegedly bitten and scratched by a customer, leaving him with gruesome injuries.

Zachary Myers was working his shift at Hungry Jack's, at the OTR service station on the Augusta Highway in Port Augusta, a coastal city in South Australia.

The 28-year-old was cleaning up after closing the fast food outlet when a woman entered just before 1am.

The woman allegedly turned violent after Mr Myers told her that the store was closed and was no longer taking any orders.

'She wouldn't take no for an answer, that we are closed,' Mr Myers told 7News.

'It was her fighting dirty, biting, scratching, everything under the sun. She just lost it.'

A passer-by filmed the brutal attack from outside, capturing the violent outburst.

In the footage, the woman lifted a stool over her head and hurled it toward Mr Myers before grabbing onto him from behind while allegedly biting his back.
