Urgent recall for popular baby product sold at Aldi

A popular baby food has been pulled from Aldi shelves due to the undeclared allergen of gluten.

Food Standards Australia New Zealand has issued a recall notice for Mamia Organic baby puffs, which come in 12g packs in apple cinnamon, blueberry and carrot flavours.

Consumers with a gluten allergy or intolerance are urged to not eat the product.

'Any consumers who have a gluten allergy or intolerance may have a reaction if these products are consumed,' the alert states.

'Any consumers concerned about their health should seek medical advice.'

The products are sold at Aldi stores in NSW, ACT, Victoria, Queensland, South Australia and Western Australia.

The recall notice affects all products, regardless of expiry date. 

Consumers should return the products to the place of purchase for a full refund.
