Woman dies after collapsing in busy Wetherspoon pub
A woman has tragically died after collapsing in a busy Wetherspoon pub at the weekend.
The OAP, confirmed to be in her 70s, dropped to the ground near the back of the Try Dowr bar in Truro, Cornwall, at around 1.50pm on Sunday.
Members of the public tried to save the woman by performing CPR before paramedics, several police cars, an ambulance and a first responder car arrived at the scene.
Unfortunately, despite the best efforts of emergency services, the woman was pronounced dead at the scene.
Her death is not believed to be suspicious.

A police spokesperson said: 'We were called to Lemon Quay, at around 1.50pm on Saturday 1 March where the ambulance service were responding to a suspected medical episode.
'A woman in her 70s was given emergency treatment but was confirmed deceased at the scene.
'Her next of kin have been informed.
'The death is not believed to be suspicious and a file will be prepared for the coroner.'
