Body of a boy found in river after desperate search was launched in Victoria's east

The body of a boy has been recovered from a river after a desperate search was launched when he went missing.
Emergency services were called to a campsite off Angusvale Track near Cobbannah in Victoria's East about 11.50am.
They were told the boy had been seen in the river around 11.20am but had not been seen since.
'A search was conducted and the boy was located deceased in the water about 2.50pm,' Victoria Police said.
The investigation into the incident is ongoing and a report will be prepared for the coroner.
