Not an Ugg boot in sight! Britain's strictest pub shares picture of packed bar after huge backlash for dress code that banned Ugg boots, gilets, 'big chains' and bubble trainers
Britain's strictest pub that banned Ugg boots, gilets and 'big chains' has hit back at critics, sharing a photo of its packed bar as a smug tribute to all those who doubted it.
The Wobbly Goblin in Stockton-on-Tees rolled out its new policy last month which prohibits a number of items of clothing and even face tattoos prompting some social media users to express their disapproval.
Many people commented 'good look with that' and 'that's hilarious'. The Stockton boozer was also told 'you're literally going to get NO customers' and 'imagine wiping out 99% of your customer base in one'.

One person said she 'used to go in here after work on a weekend a lot of years ago and the best part of the wobbly was the edgy people in there!'
Another individual said: 'Can all our customers stop coming in please. Wouldn’t that have been easier to type?'
Multiple users also took aim at the stipulation regarding tattoos in particular, with many labelling it 'discrimination'.
But new photos posted by the pub of its packed bars and queues on Saturday night have given the doubters some food for thought.
The pub owner, posting a photo on Facebook of crowds queuing up outside the venue and scores of people enjoying themselves inside, commented: 'If this is what 'no customers' and 'North Korea' looks like, then count us in!
'Thanks for the predictions, Facebook - we'll be over here enjoying the full house!'
