Fast food? Not likely! Hundreds of hungry hard up students queue up to get a free pizza at Domino's
We all know that students are short of dough, but this surely takes the biscuit (or crispy thin crust pizza)!
Shoppers in Manchester got a shock yesterday when they were confronted by hundreds of peckish students queuing up patiently outside the town's branch of Domino's Pizza.
The Manchester Metropolitan University students were there to take advantage of freshers' week vouchers for a free pizza.
Orderly queue: Let's hope these students from Manchester University weren't too hungry - they were probably in for a bit of a wait as hundreds of them queued up to take advantage of a special offer at Domino's Pizza
But if they were hoping for fast food fix, they were disappointed. The offer proved so popular that students were left waiting in line for at least half an hour.
When one student was asked if there was a special offer at the shop, he replied: 'No, this is just the normal lunchtime queue.'
The Domino effect: Short of dough, hundreds of hard-up students gathered to take advantage of the freshers' week vouchers offering a free pizza
