Richmond, Sydney: Soldier rushed to hospital after parachuting accident at RAAF base

A solider serving in the Australian Defence Force has been injured in a horror parachute accident.
The incident took place during a training drill at an RAAF base in Richmond, around 50km northwest of Sydney on Wednesday night.
The Australian Defence Force confirmed the soldier was injured during a 'routine training activity'.

The soldier was rushed to hospital in an ambulance by paramedics after first aid was provided at the scene.
The extent of the injury the soldier sustained and their current condition, after they were admitted to hospital, is not yet known.
Daily Mail Australia contacted the Australian Defence Force and NSW Health for comment.
