Man in court over island murder
A maintenance worker charged with the murder of Danish exchange student Camilla Petersen was today remanded in custody after a brief court appearance.
Richard Kemp, 52, of The Mews, Gosport, Hants was in court for just five minutes during the preliminary hearing.
He is charged with murdering 15-year-old Camilla, from Holbaek, earlier this month while she was studying English at Brading Down, on the Isle of Wight.
Kemp was remanded in custody until a further hearing at Winchester Crown Court on November 4th.
