Clarifications and corrections
An article published on 13th October reported that the Saatchi Gallery had demanded an artist, holding a major exhibition, remove swear words from his punk rock display featuring the Sex Pistols to be exhibited at the Saatchi Gallery as part of the stART Art Fair.
We have since been made aware that there was no request to remove expletives made by Saatchi Gallery officials and that the artist was in fact one of 150 artists participating in a four day art fair and not hosting a major exhibition at Saatchi Gallery.
We are happy to set the record straight.
