Chase death: Two more men charged
Two more men were today charged with the murder of father-of-two Kevin Jackson who died after chasing suspected car thieves, police said.
Rashad Zaman, 20, and Rangzaib Akhtar, 19, were charged following their appearance at Bradford Crown Court on Monday on charges of conspiracy to steal a car belonging to Mr Jackson's father-in-law.
Zaman, of Apsley Crescent, Bradford, and Akhtar, of Salt Street, Bradford, were due before Calderdale Magistrates at 2pm today.
Another man, Raees Khan, 20, of Priestman Close, Bradford, was charged last week with murdering Mr Jackson, 31, outside his home in Halifax, West Yorkshire, on December 30 last year.
Khan, of Priestman Close, Bradford, appeared alongside Zaman and Akhtar at Bradford Crown Court on February 11.
Zaman faces additional charges of conspiracy to burgle houses and conspiracy to steal motor vehicles.
Mr Jackson, a maintenance engineer, was stabbed in the head with a screwdriver and severely beaten.
He died in hospital on New Year's Day, leaving two sons, one aged seven and one just 15 months, and wife Julie, 33.
