Make the little elves at home smile this Christmas, with a letter from Santa Claus.

Father Christmas has now opened his post box to the young and the young at heart, to receive present requests for Christmas.

Good little boys and girls can expect a response, providing their  letter is sent by December 14.

A list of your (or your child’s) demands can be sent to:

Santa/Father Christmas,
Santa’s Grotto,
Reindeerland,
SANTA1

Your child should include their name, age and address. It is also a good idea to make the gender of your child obvious (I’ve been a good boy/girl this year) because Santa delivers presents all round the world and can't always tell which is a boy and which is a girl's name.

Don’t forget to attach a first or second class stamp.

Providing Santa isn’t too busy at his workshop, you, or your child can expect to receive a seasonal greetings card and a personalised letter from Santa himself!

Tech-savvy children maybe a bit worried that Papa Noel is yet to create an email account, but who knows, this may be something Santa invests in next year?

The Royal Institute for the Blind helps Santa provide a special reply in Braille, so that the children can read out his reply for themselves.
The address for this is:

RNIB,
PO Box 173,
Peterborough,
PE2 6WS
