Broker Buys and Sells from the Daily Mail
Dresdner Kleinwort Benson says buy Energis at 514p. It says the potential upside from Web hosting is bigger than previously estimated and has put a target of 880p on the share.
Charterhouse Securities says buy Text 100 Group at 400p. It says the hi-tech public relations company looks cheap compared to rivals.
Teather & Greenwood says buy Medical Solutions at 33.5p. It says acquisitions have helped drive growth in diagnostic equipment and drugs. The group should break into profit this year.
Beeson Gregory says buy Oxford Biomedica at 89.5p. It says the company has had six months of positive news and more is coming through.
Charterhouse Securities says buy Millennium & Copthorne at 480p. It says confidence in the hotel group's management is returning. Interim profits were at the top end of forecasts.
Charles Stanley says sell Vodafone at 277p as the costs of bidding for third generation phone licences worldwide are high and potential US hurdles lie ahead.
Merrill Lynch says sell Alliance & Leicester at 511.5p as there is better value elsewhere. The outlook is lacklustre, with uncertainty over restructuring plans at the former building society.
Lehman Brothers says sell Bank of Scotland at 575p as markets are being eroded and rivals are likely to grow profits faster.
