Gaming Insight serves up a treat
THE well-heeled customers of Marco Pierre White's Mirabelle restaurant and The Stork Rooms club are to have their own online casino under a deal struck with interactive gambling designer Gaming Insight.
The company, which silenced doubters after it raised £1m for its digital and online greyhound racing venture, will operate its software under the superchef's brands.
Gaming Insight's online casinos operation, already said to be profitable, has also struck a deal to run internet operator AltaVista's gaming site. The fundraising will be used to prepare the group's gobarkingmad interactive service to launch on Sky's digital service.
Reports had suggested Gaming Insight, whose shareholders include Monaco-based entrepreneur Nigel Robertson, was struggling to raise funds.
