Aviva / Norwich Union windfalls
Aviva, the newly rebranded Norwich Union, has offered with-profits investors cash windfalls.


More than 1m policyholders are being sent details of the insurer's reattribution of its £1.4bn inherited estate.
Under the offer, a typical policyholder will get a cheque payment of at least £200, with 90% in line for between £200 and £1,150.
Policholders must decide whether to take up the offer and give up all future claim to the cash.
