One year and no refund from Expedia
My flights were cancelled due to industrial action. I was owed a refund from Expedia but one year later I am still waiting.

Expedia refund: Disapointing delay
Can you help? T.T, via This is Money's Facebook page.
Tara Evans, from This is Money, replies: Over a year ago you booked two British Airways flights to Italy at the cost of £625.80 for a business trip. Unfortunately BA staff went on strike and your flight was cancelled.
You were told that a refund would be made within 6 – 12 weeks. Expedia says that the delay was due to the credit card you used to make the booking expiring.
You asked Expedia to make the refund on a new card but you were told, at the time, that this was not possible.
You said the process of claiming the money was frustrating so you took to Twitter and Facebook to draw attention to your case. You said: 'At this point the PR team stepped in and I received an email to tell me that my case was receiving personal attention and that it would be resolved. I never heard from that person again.'
It was not until I picked up your problem from the This is Money Facebook Page that Expedia took any notice of your refund or issued you an apology, despite you waiting over a year.
A spokesperson from Expedia said: 'We are sorry for the delay Mr T experienced in receiving his refund and share his frustration. As the credit card originally used to make the booking had expired, the refund took considerably longer than would normally be the case.'
'We are pleased that this matter has now been resolved: the full refund has been processed and Expedia has issued Mr Thorogood with an apology and an Expedia voucher as a gesture of goodwill.'
