Why won't TalkTalk let me cancel?
I requested to transfer my account from TalkTalk to Primus in January this year and it was completed later that month.

Telecoms woe: TalkTalk are still billing me after I cancelled
I paid my final bill from TalkTalk in February 2011, but since then I've continued to receive bills and demands for payment.
I'm worried that my internet and phone line may be cut off even though I've paid my bill to my new provider Primus? Please help!
Tara Evans, from This is Money, replies: I spoke to Primus on your behalf and they confirmed that the account and line was transferred on 19 January 2011.
You said that TalkTalk has claimed it received no notification from Primus and the line is still live with TalkTalk. You received a bill for £32.46 outstanding, despite transferring to Primus.
It seems that TalkTalk might be up to its old tricks. In November 2010 the phone and broadband provider was rapped by Ofcom for continuing to bill customers whose services with them had been cancelled.
A spokeswoman from TalkTalk said: 'We are investigating why this cancelation was not processed and in the mean time we have cleared the balance on Mr Ashton's account. We apologise for any inconvenience caused.'
You are very happy with this and said: 'I suspect the power of the press is behind their sudden change of heart. The only calls I have received from TalkTalk prior to today have been those demanding money.'
'Thank you so much for your time and effort. This is a weight off my mind!'
