Saturday's alright for banking

My children both have accounts with the Woolwich. They are not old enough to have a cashcard so they do their banking on Saturday mornings at our local branch. What will happen when Barclays takes over? Their local branch is not open Saturdays. Will my children be able to bank on Saturdays? YY, Bridport, Dorset.

A spokesman for the Woolwich says: In about 100 locations, where branches of The Woolwich and Barclays are extremely close to one another, the branches will be amalgamated, but otherwise the Woolwich branches will remain open.

There are no plans at present to change opening hours either, so your children will very likely be able to carry on banking on Saturdays.
