Will I get Additional Value?

I have just received my Additional Value Shares (AVS) certificate from Royal Bank of Scotland. What can I do with it? I have searched the web and cannot find anyone quoting a value for these shares. PC.

David Harbidge from Barclays Stockbrokers says: These additional value shares were given to existing RBS shareholders last year on a one-for-one basis after RBS took over NatWest. They have a limited lifespan of a few years and are expected to steadily rise in value, having been issued at a nominal price of £1. They are currently (8 May) quoted at 86p. They are listed on the stockmarket so any broker should be able to give you a price and deal in them.
