Should I sell CBA?

I HAVE 536 shares of Commonwealth Bank of Australia. I recently received an interim dividend of £132. Is this a good investment or should I sell?

David Hussey, banking analyst at Barclays Stockbrokers says: Relative to its peers, CBA is seen as having a strong position due to the strength of its retail and funds management businesses and the quality of its technology.

These qualities have helped the shares outperform the market over the short and longer term. At $32.95, the stock trades near its 52-week high of 34.15. In addition to this strong fundamental background, the shares also enjoy an attractive dividend yield.

As a sterling-based investor you may also benefit if the strength of the Australian dollar continues.
