CAN I transfer my distribution bond to another insurance company, and are there any charges? JE, Neath.

Paul Fuller, independent financial advisor at Baronworth (Investments) says: Distribution bonds cannot be transferred, so if you want to move your money to another distribution bond provider you would have to encash the bond and start another. This may incur redemption penalties when you encash the bond and that may have tax implications. There may also be further charges when you invest into the new bond. So before you do anything, look at all of the options.
